HP to Present Large Format Solutions at VISCOM Paris

HP today announced that it would be showing its range of new wide format printers on its stand (K062) at VISCOM Europe, 24 - 26 September, Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, Paris.

Among its other activities at VISCOM, HP will be featuring the new HP Designjet L65500 Printer that uses HP Latex Inks on its stand (K062). First shown at drupa in May, the HP Designjet L65500 Printer is the first of a new category of large format printers that enables environmentally responsible wide format printing. The HP Designjet L65500 further extends HP's broad portfolio of large, wide and super-wide format inkjet printers that serves the diverse needs of the creative and printing communities.

Introduction of Innovative Graphic Arts Solutions Lead HP to its Most Successful drupa Exhibit

HP today announced that its 2008 drupa trade show exhibit highlighting the company's industry leadership, innovation and commitment to customer success, was the most successful drupa exhibit in HP's history. Purchase contracts completed at the 14-day show were led by a significant number of HP Indigo digital press deals, in addition to sales of HP Scitex and HP Designjet large-format solutions as well as HP SmartStream workflow systems.

Lexon Group signs up UK’s first large format Screen Truepress Jet2500UV at Drupa

Newport-based Lexon Group has bought the first UK Screen Truepress Jet2500UV at Drupa. Lexon Group is extending its range of services, which includes offset, digital and screenprinting, and has a requirement for a top of the range system to produce POS material for high-end retail customers.

Canon hails drupa 2008 success as it breaks all targets

Two days after the close of the drupa show, the sales figures for Canon have been added up and the event given a firm thumbs up, after bringing in more than 16,000 sales leads during the last 14 days and breaking all targets.
