The Premier Paper Group has announced that in recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month it will be organising various activities to raise funds for this very worthy cause.
The campaign, entitled, ‘Think Pink this October with The Premier Paper Group’, will see Premier embark on a whole host of wide range fundraising activities, including selling Breast Cancer Care pin badges, which will be available from Premier’s branches and member of staff, for just £1 per badge, with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care. Premier will match the money raised by donating an additional £1 for every pin badge sold.
Other activities include: donating £10 for every tonne of MultiCopy sold during the month; and hosting a coffee and cake morning, at which Premier’s own Luke MacGregor-Dignan, who is known to be a coffee connoisseur and excellent barista will be on hand to serve up the goodies, together with Premier’s Toni Huffen, Norma Rattigan and Heather Meakin who are known to be fantastic bakers producing some of the most delicious cakes. Additionally, a trivia pop quiz will also be staged, again with all proceeds raised going to the charitable cause.
What’s more, a team that includes several well-known Premier employees, is being sponsored and entered to take part in this year’s Winter Wolf Run. The toughest of all Wolf Runs, this year’s event is being held on the 5th and 6th November at Stanford Hall in Warwickshire. The Wolf Run is approximately a 10k off road run, featuring a series of man-made and natural obstacles throughout the 10k course.
Named The Spartans, the team comprises of a mixture of different ages, as well as different fitness levels who will all be looking to push themselves to the limit, whilst testing themselves against the winter wolf. Featuring Premier’s Hussein Ismail and captained by Premier’s Brad Goldsmith, The Spartans team also includes: Charlotte Goldsmith, Darren Bellman, Amy Kenney, Julia Goldsmith, Andy Maycock, Chris Lovell, Emma Hibbert, Charlotte Lovell, Alison Broughton, Martin Broughton and Zeana Inman.
Throughout the year, Premier works in support of many local charities and good causes, providing either direct support or sponsorship where appropriate.
