The first two Go Wide events, held on the 2nd and 4th of February in Glasgow and Leeds respectively, have been deemed a big success with orders placed for a wide variety of large format printers including orders for the new HP Latex Printer L25500.
More Go Wide dates are soon to be announced following the success of the first two events. Printers and representatives from all major large format print and imaging suppliers were in attendance including Epson, HP, Metamark, Seiko and Shiraz.
Darren Walker, MD of DCP Systems comments, “The downturn of last year seems at last to be in abayance and our attendees here seem positive about the future. We’ve talked to all our customers about their plans for the future. Most have cut their cloth already and are now experiencing an upturn in business. They are also now much more aware of the true cost of running old printers that just aren’t energy efficient or require extraction etc… with the launch of the HP L25500 designjet printer and the Seiko mild solvent printer, extraction is a thing of the past but the speed and quality is also far superior than their predecessors. We can now also offer 0% finance on all our HP printers and offers like this that is exactly what the print industry needs to get back on its feet.”
