Dublin-based print business Plus Print has said its recent investment in a new HP Latex 830W printer is already paying dividends, helping the company strengthen its wide-format offering while supporting its future growth plans.
Founded in 1985, Plus Print is a family-run company that specialises in both lithographic and large-format printing. The business primarily focuses on producing graphics for corporate offices, events, galleries, museums, and similar high-visibility environments.
The company is a long-term user of HP printing technology, having installed its first machine from the manufacturer more than 20 years ago. Over the years, Plus Print has returned to HP time and time again to upgrade its production setup, with its purchase of the new HP Latex 830W part of this ongoing strategy.
With maximum print speeds of up to 36sq m/hr in Outdoor mode, the HP Latex 830W supports media up to 1.63m wide and can print in up to nine colours, including white. Like all printers in the HP Latex portfolio, it uses water-based HP Latex Inks, delivering outstanding image quality while offering a more environmentally responsible alternative to many conventional ink technologies. This allows users to combine vibrant, durable output with reduced environmental impact across a broad range of indoor and outdoor applications.
Plus Print invested in the new printer through approved HP partner NTI Digital Solutions, with the HP Latex 830W installed at the company’s dedicated Dublin production facility in May. Replacing an older HP Latex 360, the new machine has already delivered significant improvements in production, according to Print Production Manager Marcin Markiewicz.

“We upgraded to the new machine specifically for its white-ink flexibility, superior print quality, and eco-friendly credentials,” Marcin said. “The new machine offers improved speed and print quality, and we are primarily using it for producing graphics for buses, vehicle wraps, posters and backlit media.”
The new HP Latex 830W joins an established fleet of HP technology at Plus Print, which also includes an HP Latex R2000 installed in 2018 and an HP Latex 3100 that has been in operation since 2014. Marcin said the latest investment has further strengthened the company’s production capacity, enabling it to enhance the service it provides to existing customers while supporting future business growth.
“We have been using HP machines for more than 20 years, so the choice was a natural one for us,” Marcin said.
