Ricoh
Ricoh is best known to most businesses as an office technology brand, but in wide-format and industrial print it plays two roles at once. It is one of the industry’s most important suppliers of piezo inkjet printheads, found inside many third-party printers, and it is a system supplier in its own right, selling UV flatbed, latex, hybrid and textile printers under its own name.
Ricoh’s printheads carry real weight in the wide-format supply chain. Printer manufacturers build machines around them. For print service providers, this means Ricoh technology is often on the production floor even where the badge on the machine says something else.
In the UK, Ricoh sells and supports its wide-format and industrial range directly through Ricoh UK, with demonstrations and events such as Print Evolution Live hosted at Telford.
